Although I get asked frequently if I’m Swedish, I am unfortunetly not despite my blonde locks and Scandinavian features. My husband on the other hand is very much so and since being with him has taught me a ton about the Swedish culture.
I’m a stay-at-home-mom and I haven’t started my babies in any type of schooling yet. With that being said, I’ve always been active with my oldest in getting him involved in outdoor activities and playdates with other children, reading to him, and teaching him basics like numbers and letters.

As parents (moms in this case) we struggle everyday deciding if we are doing what’s best for our children. Education is one that I have contemplated in the sense that I’m not sure I want my babies to attend public school, private school, a Goddard School, should I tackle homeschooling/unschooling? There are so many options and decisions to be made as my son is reaching that age where he could potentially start school.
For the past few months now, I have also been using Education.com to have some sort of curriculum and school-like structure for my son.
Education.com is offering a Limitless Learners Contest to six students who’s ages range from kindergarten-5th grade. Writing, making videos, and being creative has always been something I’ve enjoyed doing. I created this blog [finally] to give you an inside look into my daily life as a young mom. Now living in Tampa, FL with my husband and two kids, I wake up everyday grateful to see another sunny morning.
