This is a great hit with the fam!

Fitting veggies into my son’s diet is tricky but usually if I mix it into different foods he has no idea he’s eating it! For example spinach. Not many kids, nor adults like eating plain spinach.

I make spinach, feta turkey burgers regularly because they are delicious, healthy, and my son loves them.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 pack of ground turkey breast (not regular ground turkey)
  • Spinach
  • 1 Egg
  • Feta of your choice

Instructions:

First, grab a mixing bowl and chop up your spinach. Next, combine turkey, feta, spinach, and one egg. (The egg is optional. I use it depending on how I am going to cook the burgers. In this case I am pan frying them. If I were to grill them I might not use egg because they’ll be too runny and moist for it).

Mix with hands.

Make patties.

Note: I was supervising Sebby while he used the butter knife. He was helping me cook.

Pan Fry them with lid on. Keep them on one side until you notice the up side turning mostly white, then flip. Keep them flipped for about 5 minutes or so. Turkey and chicken are not meats you want undercooked, that’s for sure.

Finish with a bun or no bun. Whatever you prefer. I usually add red onion and lettuce with tzatziki sauce on a bun.

Hope you enjoy this simple yet satisfying dish!

Sincerely,

YYM
